Various messages are output on the LD2 Ethernet port and may be received by any PC with an Ethernet connection.
Note: The HF/MF correction data is only output from the Ethernet port, it is not available from any of the RS232 ports.
The available messages are:
- Port 4992 - Raw GPS
- Port 4993 – L-band RTCM Corrections
- Port 5994 – MF RTCM Corrections
- Port 8003 – HF RTCM Corrections
- Port 9013 – NMEA Out Port A
- Port 9015 – NMEA Out Port B
The ports indicated above refer to TCP/IP ports.
Note: The Raw GPS output is only available on Ethernet port 4992 when the LD2 serial ports are configured as follows:
Port P1 must be set to “LOCAL”
Port P5 must be set to “OFF”
If it is necessary to change either of these settings, it is necessary to reboot the processor before the changes take effect.
This is accomplished by turning off the power to the unit for one minute.
The factory default Ethernet settings are:
IP: 192.168.150.249
Mask: 255.255.255.0
It is possible to change the LD2 IP address if the “Verify DP Display” Service is temporarily enabled and an external keyboard and VGA display are connected to the LD2. This procedure is described here.
