Information regarding the processing of your Personal Data
Veripos Limited and its subsidiary companies (or “Veripos”) respects your privacy and protects the Personal Data which we process about you. All processing of Personal Data is made in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (the “GDPR”). The following describes how we collect, process and share your Personal Data.
What Personal Data will be processed?
Veripos will collect and process your contact details such as your name, address, email address, telephone number (your ”Personal Data”) in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR. The Personal Data is collected from you directly, or is collected from the organisation for which you work, or from our authorised agents.
What is the purpose of processing your Personal Data?
The processing of your Personal Data is necessary for Veripos to provide support and maintenance advice relating to the products and/or services purchased or rented. You are not obliged to provide your Personal Data to us for this purpose, but your failure to do so may result in us not being able to fulfil our support and maintenance advice commitments.
What is the legal basis for processing your Personal Data?
The processing of your Personal Data is based on the legitimate interest of Veripos. We are keen to ensure that where products and/or services are purchased or rented from us that we offer a reasonable standard of support and maintenance advice to ensure that optimum efficiency of our products and/or services is delivered.
Who has access to your Personal Data?
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Data against loss or unlawful access etc. The number of persons with access to your Personal Data is limited. Only individuals associated with Veripos that need to process your Personal Data in accordance with the purposes above will have access to your Personal Data.
We will share your Personal Data with companies within the Veripos group for the purpose of support and maintenance advice. Where those companies within the Veripos group are situated outside of the EU/EEA we have put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your Personal Data.
Your Personal Data will be transferred to countries which are situated outside of EU/EEA such as United States, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Singapore, Brazil and Japan where we are using a third party processor to process your Personal Data in connection with the provision of the support and maintenance advice. These countries may have a lower level of Personal Data protection than within the EU/EEA. The transfer of your Personal Data to any third party processors operating within these countries, is based on the fact that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect the processing of your Personal Data. When transferring Personal Data to countries outside the EU/EEA, Veripos uses standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure a sufficient level of protection for your Personal Data. The standard contractual clauses are reflected in any contract between Veripos and its third party processors and in any contract between the third party processors and any of their sub-processors.
For how long is your Personal Data stored?
Your Personal Data will be stored for as long as there is a requirement for the provision of support and maintenance advice attaching to the Veripos products and/or services which have been purchased or rented, or as long as required by applicable laws.
What are your rights?

This means that we are responsible for your Personal Data being processed correctly and in accordance with applicable laws. You are entitled to know what Personal Data we are processing regarding you and you can request a copy of such data. You are entitled to have incorrect Personal Data regarding you corrected, and in some cases you may request that we delete your Personal Data (if, for example, the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected). You also have the right to object to certain processing of your Personal Data and request that the processing of your Personal Data be limited. Please note that limitation or deletion of your Personal Data may result in us not being able to fulfil our support and maintenance advice commitments. You are also entitled to extract your Personal Data in a machine-readable format and to transfer the Personal Data to another controller.
