Note: Where available Quantum should be used for all LD8 configuration. This article will detail locating an LD8 unit ID using either Quantum or terminal.
Locating unit ID using Quantum
From the Quantum main screen go to Settings. Within SETTINGS, the LD8 unit ID can be found at the top left of the page:
Locating unit ID using terminal
The LD8 WebUI provides a terminal with which to send commands and receive information from the unit. Using the latest version of Explorer, Chrome or Firefox browse to the IP address of the LD8 to access the WebUI. If the IP address isn't known see guide How do I find my LD8 IP address? The WebUI terminal can be accessed from the main page by clicking on the settings cog (⚙️) found at the top-right of the page, followed by the terminal icon (4th option down on right-hand side).
To find a LD8 unit ID enter the following:
The output will be similar to the example below, where the placement of the unit ID has been highlighted in red:
